Am I alone with the criticism of his style?

Discussion

I hope this criticism is allowed here, since I haven't found something saying otherwise

This year I found vaush and find his content quite interesting. I don't like to put myself into a political category but if I had to I would be somewhere on the left. I support things like Vaushs opinion about democratizing companies so I guess I lean somewhat towards socialism.

I've seen that there are already a lot of criticisms about him, but they are more about the what and not the how.

My criticism:

Vaush is not a very fair debater. I now watched my fair share of his debates and had to stop some of them where he is quite unfair to his opponent (interruptions, ad hominem, things like that) to the point where I get the feeling he uses it tactically. It's very distracting and to me it feels unnecessary especially because often he is right or at least his opponent is wrong, but instead of forming an argument he resorts to this. This is quite infuriating because it looks like he has no argument left making him look like he is deflecting, even though there are other arguments. It makes him look like he wants to win, not open to learn :(

He also seems to think quite highly of his own knowledge (Something like "I am right because otherwise I wouldn't debate someone on the topic") which doesn't help with that.

Also, what's with the Vaush clause in the subreddit rules? I find it very concerning if Vaush can just delete and ban everything as he likes. Why not put it in the rules to specify what you don't want. This has weird autocratic vibes but maybe this is normal for subreddits(?) Idk

Again, I am criticising the how and not the what of his videos.

Am I alone with this?
