Overseeding

Hi community. I’m in South Jersey. I rented an aerator a few Fridays ago before that big weekend rain storm and aerated and overseeded my lawn. That was 2 plus weeks ago. Watered every day since. I see no new grass?? Did that weekend storm wash all the seed away? Where did it go? Confused here. Thanks.
