pick me girl?

i was so excited to have a class where i got to be hands on and was afraid of the male-to-female ratio from my previous experience doing an engineering class. i got to talk to the 5 girls in my class and they were so friendly!! 5 girls is out of the norm and i felt pumped that i won’t feel alienated this time. weeks go by and this girl i was assigned seat next to gets too comfortable i guess, told me she actually hates women because the way they act & are drama. i couldn’t control my facial expressions but it clearly showed me having a “wtf” moment, she backtracks saying “not you though!” idgaf but igaf because that kind of opinion makes me so sad? tried to brush it over but she has been so.. idk.. she’s been rude if she doesn’t get things her way. the guys that she associates with are also obnoxious and horrible.

today we had to ask the teacher for help & he was clarifying the mistakes (i) we did, she says “oh great! we are just dumb” and shoots me the most nasty obliterating eye glare. teacher notices and he says “let’s not say that,” she then whispers with her hand on his arm “nonono it’s okay”

WTF? LOL?
