Previously denied Headaches secondary to Tinnitus
I'm trying to build evidence to win my headaches/migraines claim in secondary to tinnitus. Attached will be the denial letter. I missed the 1 year appeal window so I know I can file supplementary.
I've been prescribed Sumatriptan by an outside doctor for my migraines earlier this year. The VA clinic has also now added "Migraine without aura" to my active problems list. I am also prescribed with Eletriptan by the VA.
I do get 3-4 bad migraines a month that I just now started to keep a daily log. I have a pending PACT act claim for Chronic Sinusitis that my ENT doctor annotated migraines with sinusitis.
My question is, do you think the better route would be to continue trying to service connect migraines secondary to tinnitus or wait until there is a decision with sinusitis, to try secondary with that later down the road.
