Applying to BCWS

I'm looking into joining BCWS for next summer, I have OFA level 1 and transportation endorsement already. I have 2 seasons of tree planting and volunteer experience working on farms. I also workout everyday, mostly weightlifting and stair running but I have no specific achievements to show for it. Also a university student but I'm majoring in psychology which isn't related to forestry. Just wondering how competitive getting hired really is and what I can include in my cover letter to sound like a better candidate.

Also wondering if it's monetarily worth it to switch from planting and how big the range of what you can make is.
