Off the beaten path

My husband and I are 60 and we will be visiting Maui at the end of January. This is our 5th visit and we have done all the tourist activities. I’m looking for a quiet beach or cove with some shade that we can just kick back and relax at. Looking to read a book, take a nap, picnic lunch. Snorkeling would be cool but it’s not a must. A public bathroom would be nice. TIA!
