Question about flox medication

Hello, I was prescribed just today with 7 Moxifloxacin 400mg tablets to be taken over one week. At the same time, a steroid pack of Methylprednisolone. I was warned when picking them up not to exercise for about 10 days as there is a risk of tendon rupture while taking them, and looking into them has lead me here. I have called and asked if there is an alternative option, and am waiting as call back.

Anyways my question is basically - how prevalent are these issues with the medication? Obviously this is a community for people who have had adverse effects. Would you say this is representative of a majority of people on this medication, or just a group for those who may have drawn the short straw? I apologize if this is an offensive question, just nervous about the warnings and looking for some guidance.
