It's been a few years since I played. Is there a more reliable way to automatically send vehicles to fertilize/harvest without doing it manually?

I played several years ago and kept wishing that I didn't have to manually fertilize and harvest every field myself.

On large farms irl, I would hire workers so help do this, while I provide large oversight and decision making for the farm.

I tried a few mods at the time, but it was always a bit janky and would require at least some manual input.

Is there a more reliable way of doing this these days?
