[CO] Depicting a person in art, but the person is a deity... (libel?)
So, a weird one. Basically, there's a cult on my campus. I've been raising awareness about them, and I want to have a sticker design made to distribute that depicts the head of their church, a person who believes she is the second coming of christ, luring people into a white van for Bible study (this is something that is confirmed that happens), and to add a satirical kind of touch that alludes to the messianic claim and her wealth, I want to depicts her with holes in her hands with rolled up dollar bills sticking through them. I think where this gets sticky, is... Does god (whoever you think that is) have a case if you defame them? But really, I'm sure there are other angles to hit here. Looking forward to hearing! Thanks!
