What should I do about this stain on my ceiling?

Hello, I am a Fargo resident that is currently renting from a Goldmark property. My girlfriend and I noticed a stain on our ceiling and put in a maintenance request over a month ago. I followed up with some emails and even stopped by the office for our building. Nobody showed up until the annual city inspection yesterday. The Fargo inspector and maintenance told just blew us off about it. I emailed Goldmark for a follow up about this and they said the final results of the inspection hadn't been finalized yet.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice about my current situation. I would rather not let what seems to be an actual problem go unattended until it's too late. Do you have any advice or information that could be of help to us?
