Loading CR Touch Firmware on Ender 3 (NOT PRO)

Hey all, I'm trying to install a creality CR touch on my Ender 3 but I can NOT get the firmware to load. I've tried two different SD cards, quick and long formatting, directly extracting; nothing. My printer just won't take the firmware update. Does anyone have any advice?

As the title says, I'm working with the standard Ender 3; not pro, not Max, I don't even think it's a V2. I thought everything was rigged for this one, but maybe it's too old. Any help is appreciated!
