1989 Bronco

Just bought a 89 bronco and the previous owners swapped it to a 302. Im fixing it up and changing some parts and pieces. It has a Holley street warrior 600 cfm carb. It runs like shit and dies on me when going above 50 mph. I've messed around with the carb and adjusted the screws and float screw but doesn't really help. Fuel pump and regulator are working just fine. I'm just gonna replace the carb and want to know what everyone recommends.
