In the beginning was Yin and Yin?

Going through Ra’s Rave Cosmology lectures and I just need help comprehending this. He says in the beginning there is the duality, the juxtaposition that creates the illusion. He said Yin and Yang. Then later on in the lecture he says Yang is just an imitation of Yin and that in the beginning there was only really Yin and Yin.

Can anyone help break this down for me? Is he saying there’s actually no Yang in the Totality we are a part of? It’s all Yin? So then that duality in the beginning was just Yin getting bored with herself so she made a Yang counterpart to cause the juxtaposition?
