What happens to sinners killed in hell, but not killed with angelic or holy weapons?

We know sinners can only be "killed" by angelic weapons, which sends them to presumably purgatory forever, still alive but in an endless void

But what happens if you get shot, stabbed, crushed, exploded or burnt to "death" or otherwise destroyed beyond function? But not by angelic weapons?

Do you exist now forever as a pile of broken undead flesh, unable to move?

Do you have some sort of regeneration that restores all damage over some time?

Or do you "respawn" with a new body?

Is there any canon info on this?
