My experience with the game so far (1 crash, stutters stopped after a while)
Loaded game up, it was doing it's preloading and I noticed it put me to the menu at 50% of the preload, so I knew it was still doing stuff in the background.
Cut to upgrading latest drivers & 2 resets later, still stuttering in the menu with everything low (and I tried auto-settings before that).
After a while it just 'stopped'.
I also noticed any game settings should be applied with a reset, I think it helps.
I started playing, barely got through the tutorial area and got 1 crash...not looking good, reported it with all the info.
But after the stuttering stopped it's been smooth sailing, I am now on the 'High' preset (yes yes, I'm aware that high global illumination and the other one is raytracing), but it's smooth as butter and I'm loving the combat.
Hopefully I won't get any more crashes...I'll give it 3 crashes before I'll just wait for a new patch/upgrade.
- My advice to you is to leave the game open for 10-20mins or something, so it preloads the assets or whatever it's doing in the background. And also restart with every graphic setting change.
Specs in case some were wondering.
- Ryzen 3600X
- 32GB RAM
- 6800XT
- SSD
Looking forward to playing more of the game for sure!
