Error connecting with Tailscale >> magicsock: disabled UDP GSO
Hi All,
I have set up and turned on Tailscale on my computer. Everything works fine after I connect (I can see and ping other devices, I can connect to the internet, ...). However when I try to connect a device to my Jellyfin instance Tailscale begins to break.
As an overview I am operating this on two devices: My PC and my Phone. Both these devices have Tailscale installed. My PC also has Jellyfin. Everything is operating fine until I try to connect to Jellyfin from my phone. The default Jellyfin page will load and sometimes I can log into the account (however while the thumbnails for movies will load they will not play). After this point I will no longer be able to access the internet from my PC (turning off Tailscale at that point will not work and I will need to restart my PC) however the internet appears unaffected from the Phone.
When running over the local network and not Tailscale it will run fine.
I have had a look through the logs and everything looks fine up until the following log. It appears as the Jellyfin homepage loads on my phone (and seems to kick off this whole issue).
Oct 14 08:48:32 pc tailscaled[1398]: magicsock: disabled UDP GSO on 0.0.0.0:41641, NIC(s) may not support checksum offload
When I saw the mention of UDP I thought that I made a mistake with my firewall but made certain that UDP 41641 was whitelisted. I then also disabled the entire firewall but this did not improve the situation.
The closest that I could find mention of this with regards to Tailscale was an official blog post back in April about switching to UDP GSO (https://tailscale.com/blog/more-throughput/) . However Im not really sure what this meant or how it relates to my issue.
Im not sure if anyone can provide any insight?
Thanks
