*Possibly urgent?* 31F Mosquito bite immediately caused muscle pain in area

31F, 5'4", 135lbs, white, muscle pain at mosquito bite site, genetic insulin resistance, 2,000mg metformin daily, no drinking/smoking/drugs, physically active, Texas

I was on an easy run/walk and noticed my lower left leg quad muscle started hurting acutely in one area, as if it was being stabbed/burned, which has never happened before during any physical activity for me. I looked down and saw a large mosquito stinging me there. I immediately swatted it away, but the strange burning feeling in my muscle in the one spot the mosquito bit me is persisting, steadily a 2.5/10 and sometimes ebbing to a 4-5/10 pain. It's somewhat throbbing. The pain area is about 2inx4in following my quad shape.

However, I had another mosquito biting me on my other leg at the same time as the painful mosquito, and I have no reaction at all to that bite (except typical mosquito little red bump and itchiness).

It feels similar to when I got my Pfizer covid vaccine, the needle itself didn't hurt but I felt immediate pain in my arm where the vaccine was injected. I then "felt" - either the vaccine or my body's reaction to the injection - travel down my arm which caused tingling/some pain, after which it spread to my other arm and both my arms/hands hurt a little/tingled as I drove home. I thought nothing of it until this mosquito bite caused similar-feeling pain. I've never had reactions to other vaccines before (other than the immediate covid arm pain).

Should I be concerned that the muscle in the mosquito bite area is still hurting just as much in the half an hour afterward as in the first few seconds of the bite ? What could it be?
