So I have identity monitoring through Capital One & Chase credit cards that monitor my various email addresses & personal info, and then it alerts me when my info is found in data breaches or on the dark web.

Since September 1st, I have received no less than 91 alerts 😦 -- 51 for data breaches + 40 for dark web. What in the heck has happened in the past 1.5 months that would cause such an influx of alerts?!

I can see the compromised website (on data breaches) & my partially revealed passwords, and so I can tell that none of the hacked info seems to be recent (luckily, they are all old passwords that are no longer used, many of which have been in previously published data breaches/pastes.)
