Anyone live with their ex?

Does anyone here still live with their ex after divorcing?

I’m considering this option because I definitely want a divorce but we coparent and also live in an extremely expensive city where we won’t be able to provide our kids their best lives if we stop living together. Im thinking we should move to a place where we each have our own room (we already don’t sleep in the same room for over five years) and the kids have a room they share (both girls). This might be the only way we can afford to keep them in their schools and in our neighborhood because prices here have tripled since we moved to this neighborhood 11 years ago.

I’d love to know if anyone is making this work. STBX and I consider ourselves separated, don’t speak to each other unless it’s about the kids, spend separate time with them and divide responsibilities already. It’s not ideal, I’d prefer to not live with him but it may be the best option for our kids.
