New checkout area

Has anyone else’s store renovated their checkout area? My store just remodeled ours to have more real cashiers as opposed to self checkouts and it is AWFUL. Instead of there being a self checkout area on the right side and left side of the store with the regular cashiers in the middle of both. Now we have two self checkout registers by the produce entrance with its own line. About five or six self checkout registers by the seasonal entrance with its own line. Then, a good amount of self checkouts in the middle area but the regular cashier checkouts are in the middle of all the self checkouts with one line for everything all together. The lines are so horrible now. Everyday the lines go down each side of the store up and down aisles and no one knows where to go. Customers are already complaining I can imagine what it’ll be like once the holiday season actually begins. The wait time is insane. I stood in line for about a half hour on my lunch just waiting to get my food. I’m not sure what Walmart was thinking with this one.
