Why childfree?
For starters childfree means that a person does not want their own children especially by choice.
Now, Since y'all ask me all the time I'm writing it for once and no I will not change my mind just to have your baby. Ew.
Having a kid is a huge responsibility and I don't have the desire to have a child. I am loving and caring but I just don't want to have a baby of my own. I have babysit my cousins and I have younger sisters too jinkay liye I have always cared. I never had a maternal instinct kick in. I love my cats. I don't want a kid enduring any sort of trauma. Why have a baby when his/her primary caregiver isn't keen on having them? Being the eldest and having family issues, I always had to be there for everyone now I want to achieve my career goals, travel, live happily and explore life with my husband (non-existent as of now ππ). I just have alot to do.
Secondly, I work in a hospital. I've seen pregnant women struggling with so much. I've heard their screams during labor. They say giving birth is like surrendering your body. I talk to them and all and bas afterwards bhi after delivery there are so so many problems. So yeah birth trauma. Here are some reasons if you think it's not convincing enough.
You can rip your clit or vagina fully.
You can lose all your teeth and hair.
Peeing every-time you cough, sneeze or laugh after and during pregnancy.
You can lose ur life giving birth
Babies can poop + pee in u and you can develop infections from it
Potential Hemorrhoids (w diarrhea)
Belly button hernia
Your uterus can literally prolapse / fall out
You can go blind
Potential Broken/ dislocated tail bone
Risk of developing random new allergies
You can developer diabetes or high blood pressure
You have to wear a adult diaper after pregnancy
The sound of a child scream crying daily
Your brain gets smaller during pregnancy but swells
Your umbilical cord can get stuck inside you
Pregnancy hives
Bad Halitosis
Constant back pain and fever during pregnancy
You have to get your blood drawn ALOT
Acne breakouts all over body
Swollen ankles
Potential itchy stretch marks everywhere
Your intestines can be kicked
UTIs
Placenta previa (bleeding out of vag constanty)
Labor can go on for days
Post Partum depression and psychosis
Bleeding gums
An epidural is a tube that stays in ur back for all of labor and the needle is almost 5β , it can kill you.
hyperemesis gravidarum
the baby relies on the calcium you eat to develop their bones. If you don't get enough, your body will use calcium from your bones to nourish your baby β which can lead to osteoporosis (weak bones) later in life
postpartum preeclampsia
Newborns have really sharp fingernails and during labor they can slice you open.
The doctor could have take your uterus out and then put it back in.
I guess this can be labelled as tokophobia. Anyways a kid is a lifetime responsibility that should be thought out carefully. I wish people took the time out and think instead of just bringing children in this world and letting them get depressed later.
For the good of all and harm to none. To each their own. Peace.
