I hate my posture!
Hello. I (24 M) started going to gym 4 months ago. I hoped while I build muscle the workouts also help fix my posture. But I didn't happen. Maybe because I only do isolated muscle exercise. I've never done compound exercies like squat or bench press. My neck has always been forward leaning since I turned 14 and grown taller. I watched some posture exercises from youtube and tried to do them regularly but none of them worked. I did many exercises. It's very frustrating for me. Here I tried to draw my posture. It's of course a bit exaggerated. The things I hate the most is that my neck is at forward, my back is not straight and that my pelvis is at the back. It makes my hip look bigger. Sometimes when I walk I tried to keep my pelvis at the front because I think it makes me taller. But it's hard do it all the time. So my question is Is there any exercise that really works and can fix my posture for good? (I'm not a native English speaker. I may not have described it very well.)
