How do men hide it so well
I was talking to a guy I met off Hinge for a week and we had instant chemistry. We bonded over many similar things and had a lot in common. We spoke on the phone and our vibes were so there.
I don’t want to go into too much detail, but I told him from the beginning that my time was full and limited and he responded it was okay and that he understood.
Somehow at the end of the week it all changed. He got very short and terse when we were trying to go through the actual work of finding a dynamic that worked for both of our schedules (he was also a parent, so his time was also limited!).
In the end I got the distinct impression it was somehow related to him realizing our time strictures meant less ability to get to the sex part of our maybe relationship.
I could see nothing but green flags from this guy in the beginning. Then at the end it was nothing but grumpy, pouty “this won’t build a relationship” bs, when he’d initially said he understood and is a parent himself.
I genuinely felt like I was walking on air for a week because the vibes were so good. I’m just so deflated and disappointed. I just feel like I’m under a heavy cloud, and I needed to get this off my chest.
I’m glad I saw that side of him before becoming more involved, but damn. How are they so good at hiding it till they’re not?
