Update on Tiger

I’m updating a bit sooner than I thought I would because Tiger, the big old guy I posted about yesterday, got adopted today! Not by me, though. I had decided not to ask the shelter to hold him for me because a) I don’t think they do that and b) I knew it would be a few more days before I could take him home, and I wanted him to go to a loving home asap, even if it wasn’t mine.

I went to visit him today only to find he wasn’t there. When I asked the staff about him, they said he’d been adopted just a few hours prior. I’m so glad he’s safe and (hopefully!) settling in, probably having his first dinner in his home. I’m just a little torn up that I almost certainly won’t see him again. But I trust that his family will love him as much as I would have, and I’m still very excited to welcome a different cat into my home soon ❤️

Hopefully Tiger’s family is active on Reddit and posts him someday so we can all see more of his cute face :)
