Unusual soreness in wrist?

~1 week ago I cut myself to my fat. Halfway down the inside of my arm, roughly the entire length horizontally. Since then my wrist has been incredibly sore & hurts/causes discomfort to move and flex my hand.

Has anyone else experienced this before? It's odd to me that the soreness is in my wrist and arm and not near the cut itself.

Is this normal for it to be hurting there and this long after?
