Venting on livestreamer experience

Man, this one sucked. Got on Rise of the Resistance, was my fiancés first time on the ride. Guy next to me had his phone on full blast brightness, a handheld steadicam tripod, the works. I asked him politely to put it away. Verbatim:

“Hey man, would you mind putting your phone away for this ride?”

“With all due respect, I’m live streaming.”

“Understood, but it’s a dark ride, there’s a kid behind us, and it’s my fiancé’s first time.”

“Did you seriously ask me twice? I’m streaming, just enjoy the ride.”

He proceeded to have his phone in our faces the entire time, it absolutely sucked. Cast members said there was nothing to be done. Really frustrating, just wanted to vent.

Edit: answering some comments/questions that keep popping up.

1. I do not know his channel or username.

2. We did hang back to avoid him, this was actually wild. We let about 3 or 4 parties ahead of us, then the cast member organizing the groups asked all groups for their sizes. We were the only party of 2 and he brought us right on up…next to the streamer.

3. I did talk to a cast member after the ride, he said nothing could be done. I didn’t ask to go again and probably should have.
