I am looking to have this computer for quite a while, and I will mainly use it for gaming. If you have any suggestions on what I could change, I would really appreciate it. Keep in mind I do not have a microcenter nearby, so that changes the price on a few things. I would really like like to stay around 1000$.

If you arent Overclocking you can get rid of the cooler and k chip, then get a H77 Mobo. im assuming you are though, and if thats the case then everything here looks spot on. you could get a cheaper case. the NZXT source 210 elite is a pretty solid budget case and looks good as well.
Agreed. You could downgrade the case and maybe use that money to get a 7870 LE (which is basicly a 7950 but crippled), quite optional though.
