Fake patina paint process?

I’m currently in auto body school and I’m working on fixing and painting a door skin. I’m wanting to do a fake patina paint but the instructor has never done one so he doesn’t really know the process of that. I have it sanded down and have fixed the dents and sprayed my first coat of primer. Does anyone know where I should go from here?
