Is this typical?
Is it normal for fingertips to be numb the day after being outside in the cold for an extended time the day before? (Took the kids trick or treating last night, now fingertips are numb.)
I haven't even been sure I have Raynaud's...one doctor suggested it but not confirmed. I have never had significant coloring; sometimes pale fingernails, sometimes reddish fingertips. Never white or blue. I started with tingling fingers last March. It got worse with the cold; tingling/numbess on and off. I've had all sorts of other autoimmune manifestations since then and have been searching for answers for 8 months. I haven't known if the tingling fingers were Raynaud's or something more like neuropathy. Neurologist didn't have an answer for me. Things calmed down during spring/summer, but now with it getting cold again it has come back. Seeing the correlation between being outside last night and the numbess today has me wondering again if it could be Raynaud's. Again, it really throws me off that I don't have the classic white coloring. If anyone else has similar experiences, I would love to hear about them. Thank you!
