I feel sexier wearing scratchy clothing, particularly underwear. Does anybody else experience this?

I've always felt strangely aroused by having itchy fabric against my bare skin, in particular against my private areas. I'm not sure if it's because I find it stimulating, or because it's something that I would find sexy if I knew another woman was wearing it (I'm a lesbian). It's probably a combination of the two; just the thought that someone is wearing something so scratchy against the most sensitive part of their body, constantly in the back of their mind, just feels so erotic. Doubly so since that "someone" is me.

A few years ago, I ordered four knitted wool thongs from Etsy for my own private use, which I will link to in the comment section below. One day, just for the sake of experimenting, I decided to try wearing one out in public under a dress to see how it made me feel. I promised myself that if it became too unbearable, I'd take it off. Even though it was always noticeable, I felt so much sexier, more alluring, and more confident with it on. Since then, I've gotten into the habit of sometimes wearing a wool thong when I dress up—not always, but once in a while.

Is this a known fetish/kink? If so, is it common? If you found out that someone you’re attracted to was wearing a thong knitted out of scratchy wool, would you be turned on?
