Happy birthday burnside!

Call me a broke down, old, sentimental and slightly hung over fool but it warms my heart to see burnside skatepark not only surviving but thriving after 33 years of service. The park is expanding, the new paint job looks great, there’s money in the non profit’s coffers and the new generation of kids are absolute rippers dressed like me and my friends when we were skating in high school back in the late 90s and early 2000’s. Another solid piece of Old Portland holding strong.
