Google wifi just stopped allowing traffic to my work vpn overnight - any ideas

I have a 1st gen google WIFI system that just stopped allowing traffic to my employer vpn endpoint overnight. I can access other corporate resources at different public IPs, but the same port (8443). If i connect nord or use mobile data I can connect fine. I reset and factory reset with no resolution, If i connect direct to modem I can access the resource as well, but that isn't a manageable solution. has anyone seen anything like this and been able to resolve it?
