Why is all the praise annoying me?

I'm loving Alan Wake 2, the first is one of my top 5 games ever. Quantum Break was decent and Control was awesome.

I'm happy Remedy is finally getting the recognition they've long deserved but at the same time I see all these videos of people gushing about Remedy and Alan Wake and can't help but think, "Shut-up, you're so fake, where were you 13 years ago? You're a bandwagon jumper."

Seeing huge youtubers put out videos talking about how excited they are and how long they've been waiting for it when they've never said a single thing about Remedy or Alan Wake in their thousands of videos over the years.

Probably just because I've been following them for so long and know how they struggled over the years so all these people acting like they've always loved Remedy rubs me the wrong way.
