Does National Service/Forced Conscription count towards total YOE?

Fresh graduate from University - with a return offer to a finance stint in the energy sector.

I intend to complete 1-2 years of work in the energy sector. I’m really curious if the 2 years I spent on military (non-officer status) more towards intelligence for one of my country’s more intricate divisions (think commando, guards, Air Force etc) count towards my total YOE?

So to summarise: Would I be able to combine my 1-2 years experience in the energy sector along with my 2 years national service? (Totalling 4 YOE?)

I feel like I’m far behind my peers in terms of age (global-centric perspective), and I really want to get my MBA to even off the age gap in the near future.
