after switching to color tab, playing footage does not work anymore, even after switching back to edit tab

I am clueless. Today, I started DaVinci Resolve, but after I had cut down my footage in the edit tab and wanted to grade it in the Color tab, Resolve just stops working. It doesn't really freeze; I can still click on stuff, but it won't do anything. I already updated Resolve to 18.6, as well as my graphics driver (gtx 1080ti). I tried using a different SSD for my footage, tried to create new projects and tried it with older projects. I tried with proxies, I tried without proxies, and I tried with proxies generated by Resolve - no success. (The footage was taken from my zcam e2f6, but it also won't work for my A7iv footage)

As soon as the Color tab was opened, playing footage would not work anymore in any tab and Resolve wouldn't be able to generate optimized media or proxies (which works if the Color tab was not opened previously). A restart and never opening the Color tab will solve this, but I still cannot grade. I don't know what I can do. I don't even know what to Google. After i close resolve, there is still a process of it running in the background, that does not close, i have to terminate it manually using the windows task manager

This problem started out of sudden. The last time I was using Resolve, it worked perfectly. I cannot remember changing anything on the system.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

EDIT:

nevermind, i found the solution. i added a LUT to the LUT-folder. it was not used in the project, but resolve was not able to load it somehow and crashed. removing it from the folder again solved the problem.
