Anyone use their local extension offices?
Something I realized browsing this sub the last couple months, not many people know that they have a free resource that knows 100% what they're talking about vs the oft wrong info I see here.
In my case I utilize the MSU extension office, I simply send them an email with info/my question and within 2 days they've replied. I've picked their brains on disease, fertilizing, native soils, soil testing, weed identification, seed recommendation, etc etc.
Do yourself a favor and write to your local extension in addition to/instead of reddit.
