Fort lauderdale/Miami Lgbt

Hi!

My partner (27f) and I (26f) are supposed to come to Fort Lauderdale / Miami for a trip soon, but our country (Canada) has a travel advisory in place for LGBT. Should we postpone/cancel? We won't be there too long, only 3 days, but as two women living in Montréal, we're really not used to much discrimination based off our couple. Any thoughts/advice welcome!
