Help and Q's about a Worcester EasyControl system

I plan on getting a smart heating setup. I have a Worcester Greenstar, so I'm thinking of sticking with Worcester for the smart side of things with an EasyControl system + the smart valves.

Boiler: Greenstar 18ri ErP
Thermostat: Honeywell
Timer: Honeywell ST699 (looks like one anyway)

  • Does the EasyControl replace both the Thermostat and the Timer?
  • Would I just need the EasyControl, and valves for each radiator?

I have tried using the Worcester Bosch site, but it's not the most straightfroward.

Thanks for any help.
