Substrate storage

Hey Shroomers, all good?

I have a question.

Last night I prepared some substrate because I thought I would be able to send the grains to bulk today but it turns out that the jars need a few more days.

Here comes the question: for how long can I store my substrate before using? Should I remove the excess water if storing for a few days? Should I toss it or find a new use for it and make some fresh when it’s time?
