Bluesound Node versus Node X

I've been planning to buy the Node X for a while because I convinced myself I could justify it as "only £150 more than the base model. Yeah, I know.

However, I've just found an early Black Friday deal discounting the Node by £150 and the difference is £300.

Wondering if anyone has experience of the products to convince me it's now safe to drop down to the Node, or that I really ought to follow my dream and stick with the Node X?

As I understand it, they are functionally the same but the X has some upgrades components and DAC?
