Should I send my SAT scores to Rice University?

I have a 1440 SAT superscore, and am wondering if I should even submit my scores to Rice as the score falls below their 25th percentile. I’ve also heard that the school really values SAT/ACT scores.

I was originally not going to submit my SAT scores as the school is also test optional, but I’m worried that in doing so I will lower my chances of getting in.
