Blacks on quest 3

Just after some advice from fellow quest 3 owners

When using big screen or skyplayer the black surrounds screen look almost foggy ie not dark black ?

It sort of looks like light bleed / fog I can't describe 100% accurately but I was just wondering if this was normal ?
