Reparations of breaking rental lease in Florida.

Landlord Tenant Housing

I moved into an apartment with 2 other girls back in July, the situation is awful and I have decided it is in my best interest to live elsewhere. We are all on 1 lease and send the pay to the landlord in a lump sum amount. It is a 1 year lease. A situation has opened up where I am able to move out in 2 days and I have taken that opportunity.

I have let my landlords know and haven't received much of a response back.

From my understanding, since I am breaking a 1 year lease without a 60 day notice then I forfeit all deposits. Except I paid for the month of November which is technically giving them 30 days before they'd need another tenant.

My roommates would then have to take over my portion until the spot is filled...

I guess my question is, what legal ramifications could there be besides losing my deposits...and if I paid December technically I would have given 60 day notice then and I should receive my deposits back which is 2 months rent, a security deposit and pet deposit..

Thoughts ??
