Using sublingual desmopressin and drinking alcohol? 21M

I have diabetes insipidus due to pituitary operation to remove an adenoma. I was predcribed 30mcg×3 sublingual desmopressin. I have been using it for 7 years but today I read something on the net saying I shouldn't drink alcohol while using desmopressin but I drink once or twice a week. Is alcohol an absolute contraindication for desmopressin or shod I adjust my doses or sth? I hope you can help.
