Graphic Designer Advice

I’ve been a graphic designer for almost two years now, before that I was in trade school for Web/Graphic Design certificate. I’m having a hard time finding jobs that pay more than $20/hr. I am making $17.25/hr and I’m having a hard time financially making it in the city. I’ve lived in Utah all my life, and I’ve lived in Salt Lake for about 5 years and I’ve never had trouble with money until the pandemic hit. It is getting so scarily expensive here. Any advice on side gigs to do or anything to help with this? Thanks for the read.
