I used to hate runescape. In school many moons back, I knew people who played in the computer lab and it consumed them, I hated it. Fast forward to the end of 2020, a good friend of mine suggested a game we could play together and of course it was runescape but I was willing to give it a shot. He was pretty far in the game, cb126, bunch of 99s, pets, max gear.

I knew it was gonna be a bit to level up before I could really say if the game was good or not officially, so there I am killing barbarians in f2p for a few weeks and skilling. I decided hey ill try a month members so he gave me 500k for a little starting bonus and I was hooked. I even remember the first time I picked up some diamonds and a rune platebody from one of the g.e. drop parties.

So about a year goes by and runescape has officially consumed me. Hours at night staying up to do canifis rooftop agility. You know how it is. Then my friend got burnt out and quit playing. So here I am grinding solo now that he passed his torch on to me so i can spend the next 20yrs maxing, but, i started college not long after that.

It was interfering with my studies so I took an on and off year break, occasionally grinding here and there so I could focus more on my studies. There was a moment I think I did fight caves 8 times before I took another hiatus. Well I had some downtime this class so I bought a month of membs in case I got bored with life and said **** it im gonna try jad while I had 5 days left. I watches the videos, did the simulator, worked out to calm the nerves and died 10 seconds in. Damn. Let down.

It felt like I almost had it so before i checked out for the night, I said ill just log out before i get to the 2 mages. Well I did and spent 2 days not logging back in until I had the time to sit undistracted. After pushing it off long enough at it being 11:30 at night I said its now or never. Did 2 more jad sims and logged in. I was hyperfocused and determined. I beat jad and his healers 10 times in the aim and won. I wont be defeates this time. Im nailing every prayer switch and even doing extra between attacks like brews and restores. The healers come, moment of truth. One at a time, pulling them in and detroying them. Healers are gone, health and prayer still high, staring at this big lugs feet, still alive. Next thing I know I have a fire cape. Damn that felt so good. Like an unstoppable feeling like hey l, I'm no longer intimidated, I can do this everytime now. I even did Sotf the next day after 2 tries beat it. Im now going to attemo many more bosses knowing that I can and will prevail.

End post. Sorry for grammer errors, already spent too much time lol

I finally did it...
