CHD Scanning with ROMVault 3.6

Hi! In ROMVault I have a directory setup for my CHDs and use the XML (merged) from PD in my DATROOT folder.

Using 3.5.x (without chdman.exe in the folder) the scans are very quick. No issues reported and updates correctly after each MAME update. I switched to 3.6.1 (this version has internal CHD scanning built-in).

A Header-Only scan is instant; however, the next step scan is taking forever. 8+ hours and it is only 25% complete (on the G folders). I didn't see any specific setting that I should have enabled to prevent these longer scans.

Since I upgraded from 3.5 to 3.6, is this long scan required at least once ? and then would be faster in the future ? If not, I'll bag 3.6 and continue 3.5 (as I really didn't have any issues with it).

I mainly wanted to upgrade in anticipation of it supporting delta CHDs when that becomes official. Currently was testing CLRMAMEPRO for this and manual command line tests.

Also, if this initial long scan is required, if I need to cancel at some point, will it continue where it left off ?
