How long for RSO to take effect?

I found out about yesterday's Apothecarium's 31% off deal late in the day and picked up 1 1G Ilera Hybrid RSO Dablicator on whim since I've wanted to try it. I've read the advice to start with 1/2 of grain of rice size which I'm planning to do, though I haven't figured out exactly how I'll use it. (Under the tongue? On a cracker with peanut butter?) My main question is how long does it take to kick in? I've been using edibles for about 6 months and found that the effect seems highly variable (even some of the Wana Quick took over an hour, but other times non-Quick took <30 minutes). What am I looking for?

Also how long does the effect last? I just want to make sure I'm prepared. And I'm also happy to hear any other tips for first-time.
