How you guys being monitored for reoccurrence? My doc is like "do radiation, take AI for 5 years". No other test, not even blood test...

I had lumpectomy in mid October. Will start radiation soon and will be on AI.

Probably because I went to breast surgeon (not oncologist) directly after diagnosis, all I did was mammography -> biopsy -> contrasting MRI then surgery. No other test, no blood test, no CT.

Now I was just told to get radiation and start taking AI afterwards.

Reading up this forum, I started to feel this is little bit "hands off" and decided to make an appointment with oncologist to request, erm, something more.

So far, I think I will ask baseline estrogen, tumor maker, and also OncotypeDX to make sure I don't need chemo. Not that I want to, but I might benefit from it.

So, may I ask, what kind of tests you guys did/will do to establish the baseline and also monitor reoccurrence?
