Help evaluating an offer
Hi folks, I am purchasing a home and the owner is offering to sell me his tractor with several attachments and accessories.
From the owner:
"The tractor is a 2015 Kabota BX2370 (512 hours.) We will sell the tractor and all attachments (loader, mower deck, snow blower, and two sets of tires and wheels) for $20,000. All in good working order and ready to go."
My only experience with tractors is a riding lawn tractor from my childhood. The home has a 100' driveway and is in VT, so snow removal will be a thing. I already have a 2 stage Ariens walk behind snow blower. I will also need a mower for our 3.5 acres. The loader functionality could be useful but it's not like I'd use it every day.
I am wondering if $20K represents a good price. If it's a screaming deal, I might take it, see how much I use it in a year and then look to sell if not planning to keep it.
If it's a decent deal, then I probably won't take it, because buying a house is expensive and I don't particularly need to spend another 20K...
Again I am completely unfamiliar with this class of tractor, only thing I've used is a ride on Craftsman lawn mower.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
